The Volkswagen Arena is a multi-purpose stadium in Wolfsburg, Germany and is the home of VfL Wolfsburg. The stadium was finished in 2002. The official opening of the Volkswagen Arena was on the 13th of December 2002.
The stadium has a capacity of 30,000 places with about 8,000 being standing only and the other 22,000 are regular seats. The standing places can be adapted into 4,000 seated places for international games.
