In 2024, we conducted a series of surveys with clubs and stadiums to collect valuable insights on key topics shaping the stadium industry. A major focus was Fan Experience, an increasingly vital area for the future of sports venues. This article presents the conclusions from our member survey on Fan Experience, which included participation from more than 35 clubs and stadiums from 6 different countries, offering a comprehensive perspective on their initiatives, challenges and priorities. Additionally, we expanded our research on 'the true cost of being a fan' to 188 clubs from 11 different European Leagues, originally inspired by a strategic question from our ASK ESSMA service.
