AirPrint technology implemented at the PSG training site

The turf printing technology of ESSMA Stadium Partner, AirPrint, has been used at the training site of Paris Saint-Germain. The PSG training site grounds team, led by Jonathan Calderwood, engraved a graphic message on the pitch to wish their coach, Thomas Tuchel, a happy birthday.

 For the club it had two main goals:

  • To let the new coach feel at home;
  • Moreover, it was a great approach to enhance PSG’s brand by showing that they are forerunners in the field of fan engagement and thinking outside-the-box.

AirPrint has provided PSG with a new tool to communicate in a unique approach. The green technology, which uses only air and the grass itself to create the designs, is a distinctive communications tool to offer fans something extra with no negative impact on the pitch.

Other AirPrint projects include the engraved Leicester City FC logo during LCFC – AFC Bournemouth, a tribute to Henri Michel at FC Nantes, club communication at PSV and more.
