Stadio Della Roma – new stadium for AS Roma

Currently AS Roma plays their home matches at Stadio Olimpico. The 70,000 capacity stadium is shared with their city rivals Lazio. However, the club announced plans to move to a new stadium, Stadio della Roma. The stadium will have a 52,500 capacity with an estimated cost of €400 million and should be ready for the 2020/21 season.

Stadio della Roma will be part of the Tor di Valle project. The complete Tor di Valle project is reported to be worth about €1.5 billion and will include:

Stadio della Roma
AS Roma’s training centre
Roma Village including Superstore, Hall of Fame & Museum
Advanced sports and entertainment facilities
A business park
A centralised entertainment district and green areas
