This week, we are delighted to present Fredrik Cornell.
Fredrik Cornell is the CEO of Arenabolaget and a Senior Advisor at I-SEC Security. His career spans a diverse range of leadership roles, including nine years as a captain in the Royal Swedish Guards. Following his military service, he transitioned to the corporate sector, working as a Senior Consultant at Capgemini Ernst & Young. Additionally, he spent nine years with Securitas Transport Aviation Security in Sweden and served for seven years on the board of IPSIAC.
When asked about his thoughts on the ESSMA EXCO, Fredrik emphasised the importance of maintaining broad market coverage, both geographically and in terms of industry expertise. He believes that EXCO plays a crucial role in adding value to ESSMA by ensuring diverse perspectives and competencies are represented within the organisation.
Fredrik’s experience with ESSMA has been extensive. Over the years, he has participated in numerous workshops and summits, including virtual workshops during the COVID-19 pandemic. He highlights that the connections he made at these events have not only expanded his professional network but have also led to valuable business partnerships and concept references.
Regarding his contribution to the ESSMA EXCO, Fredrik believes that his experience in managing a privately owned stadium will provide valuable insights. He is also keen to share his expertise on stadium development, particularly regarding the unique challenges associated with maintaining a venue with a roof and a natural or hybrid pitch.
