Stade du Hainaut is a multi-use stadium in Valenciennes, France and hosts the home matches of Valenciennes FC. It replaced the old “Stade Nungesser”. The stadium has a capacity of nearly 25,000 spectators for football matches, but can be extended to 35,000 for concerts. The stadium was constructed at a total cost of +- 75 million euros. The stadium’s grand opening took place on July 26th 2011, with a friendly football match between Valenciennes FC and Borussia Dortmund (GER).
