The multi-purpose stadium will host football games of the home team, CS Universitatea Craiova, as well as other sports events including rugby, (mini-)hockey and American Football. Furthermore, the complex consists of a hotel and will be able to host concerts, fairs, exhibitions and other events.
The new stadium has a capacity of 30,929 seats with 28,071 public seats, 2,384 VIP seats, 350 seats for journalists and 62 posts for disabled people and another 62 posts for their companions.
